In addition to the Línea Clásica, the Línea 1492 and the Línea Maduro 5, Cohiba Behike will be the fourth series within the top brand Cohiba. Due to the limited availability of the tobacco used, these cigars are only available in limited quantities. For the first time in the world of Cuban premium cigars, a fourth inlay tobacco is used for Cohiba Behike, which is called “Medio Tiempo”. It describes the two leaves at the top of the tobacco plants that are grown under the free sun. However, not every plant forms these leaves and after careful selection and storage, only a limited amount is available for the production of the Cohiba Behikes.
The Medio Tiempo brings with it an enormous variety of flavors and distinctive strength that is unparalleled in the world of cigar.
The cigars are therefore aimed primarily at experienced and demanding aficionados.
Only a selection of the best tobacco from selected plantations in the San Luis and San Juan y Martinez regions in the Vuelta Abajo provides the basis for these special cigars.
In the Cohiba manufactory “El Laguito”, a group of the best torcedores has been specially trained to manufacture the cigars of the Línea Cohiba Behike.
The packaging and design of the Behike is also new and unique. They are only available in high-quality lacquered boxes of ten. The cigars have a completely redesigned ring with two holograms.

The Cohiba Behike 56 Cigar is arguably one of the best Cuban cigars ever made. An an excellent example of Cuban craftsmanship – and quality tobacco – at its finest.
Laced with the legendary Medio Tiempo leaves – they have been carefully aged in our keeps since we acquired them in 2013. After 7 years of gentle maturation, we believe these cigars are the very best smoke that money can buy.
The Behike 56, or Laguito No. 6 as it’s known in the factory, measures 166 mm by a 56 ring gauge – this smoke is one of biggest cigars from Cohiba and largest of the entire Behike line.
This cigar delivers plenty of complex, mature and rich flavours, the finest to ever come from Cohiba Cigars. From cigar beginner to aficionado, the Aged Behike 56 is a must-have for those who are looking for something nearly impossible to find.
Format: Laguito No. 5
Length: 144 mm
Ring dimension: 54 mm
The new Cohiba keeps the Behike, which incidentally was named after a tribal chief of Cuba’s indigenous Taíno tribe, but adds the moniker “BHK” and will come in three vitolas, each never produced by Habanos S.A. before.
The cigar itself is a very impressive specimen, obviously well-constructed. There’s a light to medium chocolate brown wrapper that has a very strong barnyard smell with a bit of hay thrown in. The BHK is also very firm when squeezed, almost hard, really and feels almost too large to smoke when you put it in your mouth, what many would call a jawbreaker. It also has a small pigtail cap that has been perfectly applied.
The band is, quite simply, the most amazing band I have ever seen on a cigar in my life, and it truly must be seen to be believed.
The cigar cut easily, and the first third starts with an impressive amount of spice out of the gate, along with flavors of cedar, hay and earth. There is some sweetness as well, but not much of it, it is really more of a background note at this point.
Format: Laguito No. 4
Length: 112 mm
Ring dimension: 52 mm
The Cohiba Behike 52 is Hand-crafted at the iconic El Laguito factory, this smoke measures at a 119mm length along with a 52 ring gauge. It features the highly sought-after Laguito No.4 vitola. It’s filled with nothing but the finest tobacco leaves – including the rare Medio Tiempo leaf.
You can expect a medium-full flavour profile – featuring creamy coffee notes with a touch of earthiness. It’s full of rich, smooth aromas, whilst remaining perfectly balanced. The perfect smoke for beginners and experienced aficionados.
Through this constant innovation, Cohiba is always the avant-garde brand that has led the trends in the Habano world, being the first to introduce a Reserva in 2002, and a Gran Reserva in 2009, which were made with leaves of tobacco aged a minimum of 3 and 5 years respectively.
Cohiba, is synonymous with exclusivity, the highest quality, but also something beyond the senses, a unique experience for lovers of considered the best tobacco in the world.
